Triennial Review

22 Feb
2013

The consultation process in the triennial review for stakes and prizes on category B, C and D Gaming Machines is open. This follows on from the announcement in 2011 of the intention to re – instate the triennial review of stakes and prizes in certain types of gaming machines which had existed prior to Gambling reform in 2007.

The consultation opened on 15th January 2013 and closes on 9th April 2013. This is of particular importance to the pub trade as the vast majority of gaming machines in pubs will be either category C or D.

As such, we would urge you to at least read the document on the consultation process.

The consultation documents can be found here: Consultation on Proposals for Changes to Maximum Stake and Prize Limits for Category B, C and D Gaming Machines.
